You must understand how that the real world and computerized world's can in fact be the same. I disagree, because all of my friends and I play video games together at each others houses and we talk to each other like normal people. Even if the technology is taken away we find things to do together. Everyone will do what they want, but I believe that you can have both and still be able to hold a friendship, because I do that everyday. You take life and live it, "grab the bull by the horns and ride it" living every day as if it were your last day.

A splash page is the loading screen in all games. During, before, or while the game is loading. Used to inform people about a different language of the site or where the site actually is.

I have about 5 pages done on my website, but i do have all the required materials to get the rest of them done. I would be able to get the website done middle of Block day on Wednesday.

I am almost to the correct spot being just a tad behind, hoping to get caught up by pushing through it the next couple of days into the week and getting the website done. my small checkpoints involve not getting distracted in my work over the next 3 days hoping to push into this site.

Colors are everything to a website, they make the website fit into what they need. The Specifications of a website can have a variety of colors to keep it clean or sloppy. Going really overboard in colors can make a website look really bad, sometimes to a point where you don't want to look at the site anymore.

What did you learn about file types as you created and designed your travel website? What are soe other kinds of fie types you know of? What do these different files do? Explain.

Only some certain files can be edited and some can be pictured. Files that i have used go along with programming and coding with Java, HTTP, and jpeg, MPEG. Even though i do not know what half of them do, the ones i do know involve creating cites through locations and graphs, and doing that kind of coding is extremely annoying, because you have to get exact locations.

What was your takeaway from this Travel Site? What did you learn that you didn't know before? How will the knowledge of how we built this site help you improve your future websites?


My favorite takeaway would have to be how we got the site to switch image pages w/o actually going to another page in the site. Using this knowledge in the future will be very beneficial to me, because ill be able to fit more things onto one site, instead of having to use a whole other page to fit that information on the site. Having to go into a site to way to much time in figuring out how to maneuver it, keeping it  really, really obsolete.

How can Photoshop be a valuable tool in web design? Explain.

Photoshop helps you, by letting you alter your pictures. You can draw, write, rotate and zoom the pictures to re-orient them into place. That can help you make the the site you are making, or games spray you do for something special and make it completely yours to have.

What do you know about Photoshop? Have you used it before? What can it do? Are you an expert? A newbie? Tell me about your background and what you already know.

I've used Photoshop for a personal use of creating pictures for a game, but that is about it. I was really confusing at first but you get the hang of it. I personally still call my self average to knowing about how Photoshop works but i do know the basics about how it works. There are a few tricks to getting to use Photoshop and having it all layout correctly, but it is rather simple after you know some of the basics.

Think about how a user (me or anyone else using your site) might function and interact with your site. What are some important functional features to make your website easy to work with? How can you make it easier for the user and not frustrating? Explain why this is so important.

Have everything that they need right out in the open, because going to search for something out on a website can get really annoying. Keeping everything together lets the website be more organized and has the benefit of letting the user navigate the bars better. Keeping the user entertained about the website will want them to stay longer and also want them to keep coming back to the website to see if it was updated with newer content.

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? details!

Over Sweetheart weekend I did my homework on Friday and worked Friday. Saturday I hung out with my family and went over to play monopoly and watch SNL with my gf. We decided not to go to Sweetheart after diner at Texas Roadhouse. Sunday was really relaxing, we watched Peyton Manning get destroyed by the Sea Hawks, which was the team i rooted for, and killed them-48-8 i believe.

I liked figuring out how to code with html just a little more than i had known before this class. it challenges me to know what i learn and what i need to learn on a day-to-day basis with myself. I had not known how to ad a link yet and that was really interesting.

Tell me about your three day weekend. How was it? What did you do? Elaborate!

I had worked my three day weekend and played a few games. getting homework done early on Friday night and being able to play the rest of the weekend while I was not working was really relaxing. I did not watch but i know that the Broncos and Sea Hawks are facing off in the Play-offs on the 26th of this month. Monday i worked and then relaxed the rest of the evening.

Images on the internet are free game if someone posted int, i should be able to use it.

As sad as this may seem most people in modern day age will use a picture on the internet for personal or business, but no one ever learns to cite the source in the way of how you got it. You must cite it to give credit or some copyright laws may apply to the pictures. Using the pictures are fine but using them in a game you must ask the person that made it or cite where you got it, to be able to use the picture in your work.

Web Design teaches you how to create, post, font, move, delete all kids of tools to make or delete a website. I personally in the past have used HTML and have not used anything since then.
